The "white waves" design of Shiranami conveys a feeling of motion and calmness, reminiscent of undulating water or ocean waves. This design is often linked to the image of waves with frothy white crests, typically associated with the sea. Made of 'Minoyaki' porcelain, fired at a high temperature and hand finished in Japan. Each piece has a unique pattern determined by its position in the kiln during the firing process. 

Designed for traditional use for sashimi this plate is versatile enough to use for sushi, dumplings, rice paper and spring rolls. Use for anything which has sauce accompaniments.
