Engimono Plum Blossom bush warbler (Ume Uguisu) incense sticks by Kousaido

Made in Japan

Ume means blossoms and Uguisu means Japanese bush warbler

A floral fragrance inspired by Japanese bush warbler attracted to plum blossoms.

The warbler (uguisu) is known in Japan as the harbinger of spring. Its clear, melodic call is often heard before the season fully arrives, making it a symbol of renewal, hope, and good beginnings.

Celebrate the gentle arrival of spring with this Japanese Plum Blossom Incense. Featuring a light floral-green fragrance, it captures the delicate beauty of blooming plum trees carried on the first soft breeze of the season.

The scent is fresh and subtly sweet, with a clean, uplifting quality that refreshes the senses without ever feeling sharp or overpowering. Graceful and calming, it creates a serene atmosphere that brings a quiet sense of renewal to any space.

Crafted in Japan using traditional techniques, each incense stick burns smoothly and evenly, releasing a refined aroma that lingers softly in the air. Perfect for moments of relaxation, reflection, or simply welcoming a touch of spring into your home.
