The "Kihan" series, meaning "basic canvas," is made with the most fundamental fabric and stitching of Kurashiki canvas. The design minimises embellishments to allow the inherent quality of the canvas to shine through. The fabric is waxed, paraffin-treated for water repellency, and then shrunk through a washing process. It has a firm texture that gradually softens and becomes more comfortable.

This is truly a "basic tote bag" that maximizes the appeal of Kurashiki canvas. 

The large vertical (long) size is easy to carry on the shoulder, making it perfect for everyday use such as quick shopping trips, as well as for carrying hobby or lesson supplies. The durable canvas fabric ensures peace of mind even with heavy use or heavy loads. It features one external pocket and two internal pockets, allowing for neat organisation of small items such as smartphones and handkerchiefs.

This product uses a fabric treated with a strong paraffin coating, the same type used in tents for the Japan Defence Forces. Despite being a cotton canvas, it's a durable, water-repellent material. As you use it, it develops a unique patina, similar to denim, with marks and chalk marks, allowing you to enjoy the aging process.

Care:  Gently dab the area with a soft cloth that has been wrung out tightly as soon as possible. 
Sometimes, rubbing it lightly with a white eraser can remove the stain. Be careful not to rub too hard, as this may cause discoloration. 
For products with glue or paraffin coatings, please note that the surface coating may come off if you clean them.
